Pre-written scripts, templates, and a lead tracker for finding tradies, dealers, and partners — all legally compliant for Australia.
Week 1 — Foundation (Free)
1.Personal network blast — message 50 friends/family/mates personally with the launch announcement. Use the social post template "Personal launch announcement" in the Social Posts tab.
2.Join 5-10 Aussie Facebook groups — search: "Australian Tradies", "[Your State] Cars for Sale", "Mornington Peninsula Buy Sell", etc. Don't post yet — observe for 2-3 days.
3.Set up Google Business Profile — register "Members Warehouse" at business.google.com. Helps SEO + local discoverability.
4.Submit sitemap.xml to Google Search Console — already verified. Just submit https://www.memberswarehouse.com.au/sitemap.xml at search.google.com/search-console.
Week 2 — Direct Outreach (Free)
1.10 cold calls/day to local tradies — Google Maps "plumber Mornington" or similar, get phone numbers, use the Tradie cold-call script. Target: 50 calls/week, expect ~5 interested.
2.Visit 5 local car dealerships — print the dealer one-pager (in Email Templates tab as PDF), walk in, ask for the manager, do a 5-min iPad demo.
3.Post 1 vehicle/day on Facebook Marketplace — at the bottom of each listing add: "More vehicles at memberswarehouse.com.au — no fees".
4.Post in Aussie FB groups — use the "Group introduction" template. Once per group, in the appropriate sub-channel.
Week 3 — Test Paid Ads (~$300)
1.Facebook Ad: $5/day for 14 days = $70 — target: Aussie men 25-55, interests "cars/utes/4WDs". Goal: drive traffic, see if anyone signs up.
2.Google Ad: $10/day for 14 days = $140 — keywords: "sell my car [state]", "list trade business [city]". Tightly targeted, high intent.
3.Track conversions — log each signup to Lead Tracker. Note which channel sent them. Decide which ad to scale or kill in Week 4.
Week 4 — Scale What Works
1.Double down on whatever channel converted in Week 3 — don't spread thin.
2.First newsletter — by now you should have 30-100 subscribers from the popup. Send the "What's new" newsletter from Newsletter Manager.
3.Reach out to a Master Builders Vic / Master Plumbers — offer a discount to their members in exchange for a feature in their newsletter. Use "Trade association partnership" email template.
4.Review month 1 data — total signups, traffic source breakdown, what worked, what didn't. Plan month 2 accordingly.
Realistic 30-Day Targets

⚖️ Australian Spam Act 2003 — What You Can & Can't Do
You CAN cold-email a business if:
The email address is publicly listed on their website or directory
Your message is directly related to their business activity (e.g. promoting Tradie Pack to a tradie is OK)
You include identification (your name, business, contact details)
You include a clear unsubscribe option (e.g. "reply STOP")
You CANNOT:
Email someone after they've opted out
Use harvested email lists from random sources
Hide your identity or contact details
Send marketing to personal/non-business addresses without consent
Penalty: Up to $2.2M/day for serious violations. ACMA actively enforces.
📞 Cold Calling — Do Not Call Register
Business numbers (e.g. landline at a tradie's office) are NOT covered by the Do Not Call register — you can call freely for B2B purposes.
Personal mobiles registered on DNC: don't call for marketing. Most tradie mobiles ARE business numbers though, so usually fine.
Best practice: introduce yourself + business in the first 10 seconds, give them an easy out ("got 30 seconds?"), and respect "not interested" the first time.
📋 Privacy Act & Lead Storage
When you store leads (in the Lead Tracker tab), you're a "data handler" under the Privacy Act 1988.
Best practices:
Only store info needed for outreach (name, phone, email, business)
Don't store sensitive data (financial info, personal addresses)
If a lead asks to be deleted — delete them within 30 days
Have a privacy policy on your site (you do — at /contact.html)
🛡️ Recommended Compliance Habits
Always include your business name + contact in cold emails
Always include "reply STOP to unsubscribe" in cold emails
Track DNC requests immediately — mark them "not_interested" in Lead Tracker and never contact again
Don't use harvested lists from sketchy sources — only contacts you find from publicly-available listings (Google Maps, business websites, Yellow Pages)
Keep records of consent for marketing emails (the popup signup gives you implicit consent)

Bulk Import Leads (CSV)
Paste CSV data with columns: business_name,contact_name,phone,email,category,state,suburb
First row should be the header. category = tradie/dealer/partner/other. Apify exports work directly.
