What employers see
When you apply, the employer sees: your name, the email address you used to apply, your phone (if you entered one), your cover letter (if you wrote one), and your resume (if uploaded).
Your Members Warehouse account history (vehicle listings, marketplace listings, store activity, etc.) is not visible to employers — applications are independent.
Resume privacy
Your resume is uploaded to secure cloud storage and only the specific employer you apply to (and Members Warehouse staff for moderation purposes) can access it. Resumes are not shared more broadly, indexed publicly, or sold to third parties.
If you save your resume to your profile, it stays available for one-click applications to future jobs. You can delete your resume at any time from your dashboard.
Application status tracking
In your dashboard, you'll see one of these statuses on each application:
- Submitted — sent, employer hasn't opened it yet.
- Reviewed — employer has read your application.
- Shortlisted — you're on the shortlist. Expect contact soon.
- Interview — employer wants to interview you.
- Hired — you got the job. Congrats!
- Not Selected — employer went in another direction.
You'll receive an automatic email at most status changes — no more wondering if anyone read your application.
Tips for a strong application
- Read the full job description. Listings with specific qualifications get specific applicants — make sure you fit before applying.
- Write a short, honest cover letter. 3-4 sentences saying why you're interested and what you bring is plenty.
- Make sure your resume is current. Last role first, dates, key responsibilities, and skills. PDF format works best.
- Use a sensible email address. firstname.lastname@... is better than xXxshreddedmate420xXx@... for getting taken seriously.
- Follow up if appropriate. If you don't hear back in 1-2 weeks, a polite follow-up email through the platform is fine.
Scam protection
If an employer asks for: payment up front, your bank PIN, your full Tax File Number before being hired, or money for "training materials" — that's a scam. Report suspicious listings to Admin@memberswarehouse.com.au immediately.
We verify employer ABNs and remove fraudulent listings, but ultimately you need to do your own due diligence before sharing sensitive personal information.
