About the Program

The Members Warehouse Apprentice Giveaway is a discretionary program that gives free tools and gear to Australian apprentices in the trades. It's how we give back to the industry that our platform supports.

📋 What "discretionary" means We choose recipients at our own discretion. Applying doesn't guarantee you'll receive anything. We typically do a draw or selection a few times a year based on need, applications, and what we have available.

Who Can Apply

  • Australian residents currently in a trade apprenticeship
  • All trades welcome: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, auto, etc.
  • First-year and final-year apprentices both eligible
  • Must be 16 years or older

What's Being Given Away

Items vary based on what we source. Past and upcoming items include:

  • 🔧 Hand tools (Stanley, Bahco, Sidchrome)
  • ⚡ Power tools (Makita, DeWalt, Milwaukee)
  • 🦺 Safety gear (helmets, gloves, boots, hi-vis)
  • 🎒 Toolbags and tool boxes
  • 📐 Measuring and marking tools
  • 🏗️ Building supplies (Bunnings, Bowens vouchers)

How to Apply

  1. Visit the Giveaway page
  2. Fill in your details: name, age, trade, year of apprenticeship
  3. Tell us what you do and why you'd benefit (a few sentences)
  4. Confirm you're an Australian apprentice
  5. Submit the form

We don't auto-confirm receipt. If you're selected, we'll contact you directly within 30-60 days.

Trade Schools & Workplaces

If you're a trade school, RTO, or workplace with apprentices on staff, you can register interest in our program. We send batches to schools and workplaces that look after their apprentices well. Register interest →

Where We Source From

We buy our giveaway items from Australia's best tool retailers and building suppliers — Bunnings, Total Tools, Sydney Tools, Bowens, Tradelink, and similar. We're not partnered with any of them — just buy good quality gear that apprentices will actually use.

💡 Brand names All brand names mentioned (Makita, Stanley, Bunnings etc.) are trade marks of their respective owners. Members Warehouse has no affiliation, sponsorship, or partnership with these brands.
