Free marketplace listings are currently available to all Members Warehouse account holders as a promotional tier:

  • Free Member — unlimited marketplace listings (promotional, subject to change) — items under $1,000, no vehicles or business listings
  • Marketplace Add-on — $9.99/mo FREE — unlimited listings, includes restricted categories
  • Solo, Multi, Business, Business Plus — all include marketplace alongside vehicle listings
  • Tradie Pack — full access including marketplace

Creating a Listing

Go to "Create Listing" in your dashboard Or visit marketplace-create.html directly.

Pick a category Tools, furniture, electronics, sporting goods, etc.

Add details Title, description, condition, brand (if applicable), dimensions/specs.

Upload photos 4-8 good photos make a huge difference. Natural light, clean background.

Set price & delivery options Fixed price or "or near offer". Pickup, postage, or both.

Publish Your listing goes live immediately. Buyers can message you directly.

Photo Tips

  • Take photos in natural light (near a window, no flash)
  • Use a clean, neutral background (white wall, wood floor, etc.)
  • Show the item from multiple angles
  • Take close-ups of any damage, brand labels, or unique features
  • Include a size reference if helpful (a ruler, common object, etc.)

Pricing

Research what similar items have sold for. Be realistic — items priced too high sit on the marketplace for months. Items priced fairly sell in days.

💡 Two pricing strategies Quick sale: Price 10-20% below market, accept first reasonable offer. Sells fast.
Best price: Price 10% above target, negotiate. Takes longer but maximises return.

Shipping with Australia Post

Members Warehouse integrates with Australia Post for postage calculation. You can:

  • Get postage estimates based on weight + buyer's postcode
  • Generate prepaid shipping labels
  • Track parcels from your dashboard
  • Optionally include postage in the listing price
