  • Quick callouts (e.g. unblocking a drain)
  • When you just want to introduce yourself

A full branded quote with everything itemised:

  • Your business details (auto-filled from profile)
  • Customer details
  • Scope of work
  • Itemised costs + GST calculation
  • Inclusions and exclusions
  • Payment terms (deposit %)
  • Workmanship + materials warranty
  • Validity date
  • Personal message
  • Accept/Decline buttons for the customer

Creating a Professional Quote

Open the job Click "Send Professional Quote" (not "Quick Quote").

Business details auto-fill Your ABN, license, phone etc. flow from your tradie profile.

Add scope of work Describe what you'll do. Be specific. Use bullet points.

Add line items Break the job into parts: labour, materials, callout, etc. GST auto-calculates.

Set terms Deposit %, payment schedule, warranty, validity date.

Add a personal message Why should they choose you? Build rapport.

Send Customer gets a branded email with a link to view, accept, or decline.

Quote Examples by Job Type

Small repair (e.g. tap replacement)

  • Line 1: Callout fee โ€” $80
  • Line 2: Labour (1 hour) โ€” $110
  • Line 3: Tap supply (Caroma) โ€” $145
  • Subtotal: $335 + GST = $368.50

Mid-sized job (e.g. bathroom retile)

  • Line 1: Demolition + removal โ€” $450
  • Line 2: Waterproofing โ€” $350
  • Line 3: Tile supply (60 mยฒ) โ€” $1,200
  • Line 4: Labour (4 days @ $750) โ€” $3,000
  • Line 5: Grout + sundries โ€” $120

What Happens After Sending

  1. Customer receives a branded email with quote summary
  2. They click a link to view the full quote page
  3. They can Accept, Decline, or just close (sometimes they think about it)
  4. You get notified by email of any action they take
  5. If they accept, you arrange logistics directly (start date, deposit, etc.)

The quote stays in your dashboard so you can track all sent quotes, see their status (Sent / Viewed / Accepted / Declined), and follow up if needed.
