Contacting a Seller

Click "Contact Seller" on the listing You'll need a free Members Warehouse account to send messages.

Send your enquiry Ask any questions, request more photos, or arrange a time to inspect.

Arrange inspection Always inspect a vehicle in person before paying. Bring someone mechanical if you can.

Negotiate and pay directly Members Warehouse does NOT hold funds or escrow. You pay the seller directly.

Safe Buying Tips

⚠️ Important Members Warehouse is a listing platform. We don't verify every seller or vehicle. Apply normal caution as you would with any private sale.

Before you pay

  • PPSR check — Run a Personal Property Securities Register check ($2 from ppsr.gov.au) to confirm there's no money owing on the vehicle.
  • Rego check — Confirm the registration is current and matches the VIN.
  • Pre-purchase inspection — Worth $200 from a mobile mechanic. Could save you thousands.
  • Verify ID — Match the seller's driver's licence to the registration papers.

Payment safety

  • Pay by bank transfer to the seller's verified account (not cash if avoidable).
  • For high-value vehicles, consider a bank cheque or PEXA settlement.
  • Never wire money overseas. Never pay deposits before inspection.
